Reading has been the main source for growth of our brains. There are millions of texts worth reading making it impossible for a person to read all the writings in a lifetime. Below is a list of some inspiring books classic authors have published and you can give them a try during your free time.

Down and Out in London and Paris authored by George Orwell. This semi-autobiographical tale published in 1933 points the social injustices in own views. The 1920s setting unleashes Orwell who is almost penniless and stays in a grimy hotel in Paris. He meets poverty on arrival to London. Great sense of humor is used to impartially tell the bizarre working conditions.

Age of Reason written by Jean Sartre. It tells of an inner conflict of mid aged professor, Mathieu. The professor is currently facing difficulties in financial state when he realizes that he to fund an abortion of her mistress Marcelle. His allies and student add unto his turmoil by distorting his susceptible mind state as he tries to find the solution to his miseries. An existential classic and a sensational writing are showcased in this 1945 book.

The Metamorphosis written by Franz Kafka. This 1915 book tells the story of Gregor Samsa who gets to sleep one evening and awakes to find that he changed into a horrific vermin. He is gradually getting excluded by his family which is at shock and dismisses him grounded on his appearances. This book highly moving and has also acted as a defining one for various writers.

Ice Cold Blood by Truman Capote. It is among the famous books that brought the author to stardom way back in 1966.
