Article Marketing - What a Plan Looks Like

By Lemon Ohara

If you want to achieve anything offline or online, it is very important that you have a plan. Now, with article marketing, the goal is to create a fixed number of articles pretty often. You need to make plans for your submissions, and you're going to need to plan your monitoring. As a matter of fact, when you're doing anything offline or internet-based, you ought to have a plan.

So how do you create a plan for your article marketing?

1 - The very first thing you need to choose is how much traffic you want to generate. Do you want to have 100 folk visit your website on a regular basis? Or do you want to double that amount to 200 folks? Or maybe 50 folk are sufficient to you at the moment. You need to choose that in advance so you can create the appropriate number of articles which will generate that type of traffic.

2 - Then you want to decide what time of day you will sit down to write your articles. I tend to write my articles really early on in the morning because writing my articles is necessary to me, and I want to get them done as early as possible. You might be someone that works better or even more efficiently writing in the evening. Whatever time of day is OK for you, set aside a little time to pen your articles.

3 - So how many articles are you going to make first off? Will you start with 5 a day? Perhaps 3? You decide! If you are used to writing, then creating 3 to five articles a day should not be much of an argument for you. I create a minimum of 10 articles every day.

4 - You want to also put aside some time to make the titles of your articles. If you leave this till you are prepared for each title, it will possibly take you a lot longer to finish your articles. So draft a list of at least 10 or 20 titles that you plan to write articles about.

5 - At the allotted time, sit down and write your articles. Don't stop till you've completed your fixed number of articles. Write articles that are full of excellent quality content. Write articles that your audience will wish to read. Write articles that give animating info.

Once you have completed your fixed quantity of articles, set some time aside for proofreading.

6 - Proofreading shouldn't take too long. It is simply a question of reading thru what you have typed, revising and correcting where necessary and also inserting your bio and your link.

7 - Submissions. After you have completed your article writing, and modifying, then it's time to submit. By this point, you ought to have a list of article directory sites to which you submit fairly constantly. If you might draft your articles and submit them each day, you may begin to notice over a period of time a regular stream of traffic to your website.
