Using Your Writing to Earn Income On the web

By Niamh Arthur

Writing for Money HAS to Mean Writing For a Blog

I once had the chance to get a freelance writing job that would have brought in $4,000 a month guaranteed[**]. Why did not I go for it?

I would be strapped to my desk at least 40 hours per week to keep abreast of the amount of articles I would have had to write. I would have been writing 20 articles for each subject I was given and then spinning them, while the work is reasonably easy it is amazingly dreary to write for hours on topics you do not care about.

So I opted to instead work on my own blog and create articles on topics I was actually zealously interested in.

Doing this hasn't only let me use my writing for money, but it is helped me to free more of my time, to find folks who I really love working with and spending time with, and it's permitted me to "stretch my wings" a bit. I'm able to improve my writing and communication thru the feedback I recieve.

You do not know how great it feels to have folk letting me know how electrified they are by my writing and how much it has assisted them.

If I had been wrestling to produce articles on the best baby buggy or bird house I'd have melted my brain and my drive to write.

The simplest way to Start Writing for Money

1. Start a Blog

You want to think about what subjects you wish to write about. I write about personal development, earning from home, passive income streams, and changing your life. These are subjects that are interesting to me so I feel my writing is actually helping others.

2. Learn some simple syndication systems

You will be wanting to share your blog through social networks. One of the greatest tactics to do that is to start friending people who share the same kind of interests with you. Then we you share your blog content they're going to be likelier to do the same, thus spreading your blog virally.

Also, if your target is to drive social traffic your posts can be more fun, entertaining and more YOU, you will get even better readers and returning readers!

3. Write Daily

The more you update your blog the more your traffic will expand! This bit is where you as a writer have the edge. Most folks attempting article promotion online aren't natural writers. If you write easily and clearly, then daily posting should be a doddle.

4. Monetize Your Blog

It is easy to get cash from ad revenue, but that implies building a heavy traffic blog BEFORE you see much earnings. You can capitalize more easily on the traffic you bring in by selling related associate products.

The fastest way to start writing for money is to set up a blog that already is optimised for easy social sharing, commenting, and linking, and has a built in monetization strategy ready to use.
